Last week my sister came down from Utah with 3 of her kids and my cousin. We love it when they come. We always have such a good time. I love that we have some kids the same age. AJ and Nalani always have a blast together. This time the loved playing in the pool as long as AJ was not actually in the pool. I can already tell that Erik and Oaklie are going to be best friends. They played so great together. Alanna played well with all of the kids like always, well when she is down here anyways. And even though AJ threw fits a lot when they were down here I know he had a blast. He has also learned a couple of things from them which I am not too happy about. He has learned to pick his nose! So gross. He also will not eat anything without dippy (ketchup or ranch) anymore. Which I guess is not so bad. I was able to hold off on it for almost 2yrs. We can not wait until they come down again. Love you guys!

Crazy sleepers
Since Erik has been in his crib he has slept pretty crazy! I mean every time we go into get him he always has his legs or arms in between the crib rails. AJ has also been sleeping crazy. He wakes up in the middle of the night and goes where ever he wants. We have found him in the living room, in front of his bed room door and in the middle of his floor. He also likes to take things to bed with him. Like toys, books, my shoes!! Yes my shoes. They are just my crazy little sleepers.

Craft it forward
The first 5 people to leave a comment on this blog will receive something made by me. However there are some limitations:
1. I make no guarantee that you will like what I make.
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It will be done this year.
4. You have not a clue what it is going to be; poetry, shoes, bags or a little invention of my own. I may even bake something and mail it you! Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. It may blow your mind!
Here's the catch... if you choose to do this, you must post this on your blog and be ready to make something for five people too. This will be fun! And, when you receive the fabulous item I make you, you must post a picture of it on your blog. Or if you don't have a blog, send me a photo and I will post it! Ready....Set....Comment!

slam dunk!
So have I mentioned that AJ has been getting into EVERYTHING and that I can not leave him alone for a second? The other day after swimming we were all asleep. Well AJ has this lovely way of waking up. He is as quiet as ever and will not make a sound. Even with the monitor on in the room I still can not hear him get out of bed. He decided he would play some basketball in his own little way and used his head as the ball. I could not get the hoop off for anything. I tried everything but cutting because I could not keep him still enough and thought I would cut him.
I mean he has just started getting into everything. So far I have caught him with the baby powder, he fell on his head (which he has not learned from that mistake, Arli caught him yesterday trying again to climb over our porch again.), has tried to put keys in the sockets after taking the little tabs out, has tried using one of my kitchen aid knives, colored on himself with a sharpie and then put it back in the same spot he grabbed it from and now has tried to used his head as a basket ball. What on Earth am I going to do with this child?

He is just all boy
So today has been very eventful. AJ decided that he would try to jump our balcony, and did not succeed. He fell right onto all of the rocks. I took him to urgent care and they told me he was fine and the cuts would heal on there own. I was so upset with them. They were not even going to clean it! But I mentioned how it was still bleeding so they cleaned it. But still did not put a band-aid on. There are 2 cuts that are still bleeding and it has been over 5hrs since it happened. I would not call them cuts but punctures. I am going to go buy some butterfly bandages and see if he will keep them on. What a way to end the month.
These were taken at 6pm. 4hrs after he fell.
Onto something funny....well mean. This evening when Erik woke up from his nap, AJ was of course still crying. Erik was laughing everytime AJ made a crying face and started to cry. I was laughing so hard.

Doing what toddlers do best!
So yesterday I was in a hurry to go to activity days and then go pick up Arli. Well while getting ready AJ decided to be a typical toddler and get into the baby powder! I had just gotten both boys ready for bed. (that way they could go straight to bed when we got home from picking up Arli.) I was seriously gone for 2min! I wish I would have walked into the room with my camera because AJ's face was priceless. I was not even upset with him after I saw his face.
How could you be upset with this cute little man?
Congratulations Grandma and Monty
I just wanted to send out a quick congratulations to my Grandma. She got married on Saturday the 35th to what I am sure is a wonderfull man, Monty. I have yet to meet him but he is so nice from what I have heard and can not wait until I am able to meet him. I was not able to go to their wedding as it was short notice and they live in Indiana. So I do not have a picture yet of the two of them together. But I do have one of each of them which will have to do for now.

Congratulations Grandma and Monty! Sorry we were unable to make it down there. But we will soon.

We love it when Aunt Rosie comes!
So I have posted before about my Aunt Rosie, well she came into Vegas again on Thursday from Arizona. We always enjoy getting together and her telling us stories about my Grandma and how she would get into trouble growing up and what ever else we have time to talk about. I actually learned that there are online nursing schools that I can go to as soon as I get my GED. Which is going good just studyig away all the time. But anyways everytime she comes we have dinner together so this time we had pizza. Well her and my mom went to get it and get the largest one they had. Well they did not realize just how large this pizza would be lol. It was a 36in pizza!! I mean this thing was HUGE! It was even bigger than my mom's stove. But it was good, and the best part....leftovers!! My brother even had some this morning for breakfast. I know what a wonderful breakfast. I did not get a chance to get pictures with her this time. But did get some of her and the boys.
Our Pizza...this thing was HUGE!!!!

My 23rd birthday
So this is late but my 23rd birthday was on Monday. But the parting started on Saturday night. My mom always takes Arli and I out on our birthdays and on our anniversary. This year I chose to go to the Rainforest Cafe at the MGM. It was fun. AJ loved looking at everything. He really liked the talking tree. But I did not get a picture of that. On Sunday I had a lazy day and Arli made breakfast and dinner! Both by the way were great, he is such a great cook. Then on Monday I did not do much. My mom and I tried to take the kids to the park but her car broke down so we went to the shop. But I was once again free from cooking dinner, which meant no dishes for me YAY!!! Arli gave me 3 seasons of ER and a new USB. I am not one that usually buys seasons of shows but I have been a VERY big fan of ER from the begining and have seen each of the shows at least twice. Well about a month ago they had their series finally, which really bummed me out so that night I told Arli that I have to have the whole series. Which by the way there are 15 seasons. I have even been off track because of no ER on Thursday nights. My mom gave me a giant tea cup to use as a prop for taking pictures. Which I have yet to use but plan on taking the boys to the park sometime this week to use it.
Erik slept the whole time. AJ staring at the storm. He was not to sure of it the first time but liked it later.

Video of AJ
I know the quality of the video is poor. But it is off of an older camcorder. Hope you all enjoy!
jealousy or just curious?
So since Erik has been born all AJ wants to do is be in the baby toys. He has even used the bouncy seat more than Erik has. He thinks it is hillarious when he does it too. Now my mom says that is his way of being jealous. But I think it is because he is just curious about everything new, well new to him.
Erik does not even use a paci but AJ found one somehow.
He loved jumping
These last 2 are a little old. But I have not taken any new pics of him in these toys.

AJ is such a good big brother
The other night as I was getting AJ's pj's for bed, Arli told me to come look and AJ was feeding Erik! It was so cute. He is such a good brother. He always wants to tickle him or help him bounce in his jumper. He also never lets us get out the door with out him, like we ever would, but he will stand by him until we come get him. He has even tried to pick him up. I love that he is finally interacting with him and forming a life long brotherly bond. I can not wait to watch these 2 wonderful brothers grow up!
Can you tell this kid is a handful?
Red Rock
So I got the bright idea to take the boys along with my nephews to Red Rock with my mom. Big mistake. It was fun but Erik was super heavy in his sungli and AJ just did not want to walk with us or hold our hands. But we did have a good time. My oldest nephew Ashton wanted to stay home with my brother which was fine(he would have only wanted to go higher on everything). We took the kids trail and hiked up to see a waterfall, yes you heard right a water fall in the desert. But I could have lived without doing it because the waterfall had less water than my shower gives. But it is the desert. Best part of the day was AJ slept from 6pm to 7am!!!
Having a picnic before our hike
Happy Easter!
I love Easter. It is always so much fun. AJ did not really get it this year but I am sure he will next year. We started out with dying eggs with my nephews Ashton and Malaki. AJ absolutely LOVED it. He just did not know how to be gentle so he just threw them in the cups. So all of his eggs were cracked. But he got a kick out of it and our reaction every time he did it. He even had to have a little taste of the egg dying mixture and the egg shells. Neither of which he liked, but who would? We went to an Easter egg hunt in Mountain's Edge park and had a great time. But the hunt was over in like 30sec no joke. That did not bother AJ though he picked up one for each hand and was done. On Easter Sunday the Easter bunny came while we were at church and once again AJ just did not care. He picked his 2 things out of the basket that he wanted and then left me to do the rest which was fine with me. Erik had a blast though, he loved opening everything.
I do not know how to make a college yet so sorry about all of the pictures.

Birthday and a car show
The birthday girl!
I went with my mom to pick up my nephews last Saturday in Cedar City Utah. While up there we had a birthday celebration for my niece Alanna who turned 5! That is so crazy, it seems like just the other day she was a new born. We lucked out and was able to see a car show. There were not too many cars. But it was still fun.
Nannie snuck Erik some icing. But I think he looks so big in this picture.

The boys
Erik, Malaki, Ashton & AJ
Handsome man
My favorite of Erik
Brotherly LoveMy nephews Ashton and Malaki are in town from UT and my mom decided to get a picture done of just the boys. Well it was VERY hectic. But the pictures are cute. Although I think that we have decided that next time I will take the pictures because it was too expensive for what we got and I know I could do better with just a couple more props. Plus this lady was just crazy. She looked like she was on something and was not that great for supposedly having 4yrs of experience. Here are just a few of the pictures.
I will have more posts coming because this has and is going to continue to be a very eventful week with birthdays, egg dying, Red Rock Easter and just having soo much fun. But I am just way tired, and hardly have time to do things.
