memories

1. As you comment on my blog, leave one (or 2 or 3 or 10) memories that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember.
2. Next, repost these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty fun to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you are playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave a memory about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you do not have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. Have fun!!

A Knight's Tale

There once was a knight named AJ. He was a very brave knight. He had to set off for a mission. A mission to drive his mother and father nuts. He was doing his job too. But then one day he went to far and he got hit with a sword. The sleepy sword. This story does have a happy ending though. For this brave knight went on to see another day. As for his mission. He continues onward in fulfilling it and is determined to drive his mother and father up the walls each and everyday.
The End

Now the story behind the middle picture is that we were getting ready for a Halloween party and AJ feel asleep in his highchair 30min before we had to go. I mean he was dead asleep. I was able to get him out of his highchair, wash him off, brush his teeth, get him in his costume and he still didn't wake up. So Arli and I decided to have some fun (we're such bad parents), and made it look like AJ was killed in a battle. He slept trough our torture and I was able to get him into his car seat and he STILL wouldn't wake up. So I finally had to be really mean and think of a way to wake him up. So I set my car alarm off, and believe it or not the little bugger woke up for only 5sec. He was one tired boy. I did get him to stay awake for the party. Which was good and he had a blast. He even won best original costume.

Bloody Eyeballs

My friend through a Halloween party and I made something for the potluck. My dish was Bloody Eyeballs. They were chocolate cupcakes with red whipped cream filling and white icing with bloody veins and marshmellows for the eyes. They were a hit and I actually won the potluck dish. I was surprized about that one.

Pumpkins

My mom and I decided to carve pumpkins this year with AJ. He did not like it to much. He reacted the same way as he did with grass and with the beach. His facial expression was the same. I can't help but lagugh everytime I see it. He does not like different textures i guess. Hopefully he will by next year. Cause I love pumpkin carving.

Playing at Nannie's

We go over to my mom's house every Saturday that Arli works. She only lives 10min from his work and it saves me a lot of gas and gives my mom time with the boys. Well AJ loves to play outside there and just loves being there. We love you Nannie.

I can do it all!

I had to give both boys a bath the other day and honestly did not know how i would do it at first. I did not have that much time. Then I got the bright idea to give AJ a bath in the big tub and give Erik a bath in our bathroom sink and get him dressed on our counter top. since he is so small.

Making cookies

The other day AJ and I made some peanut butter cookies and had a blast! He was not that interested in making them. He just wanted the batter!!! What kid doesn't right? Heck I still like to eat a little.

Happy Birthday Arli!!

Today is Arli's birthday. Happy birthday honey. I just wanted everyone to know that today is his birthday and that we are so lucky to have him in our lives as a father, husband and best friend. He is truely the best husband and father in the whole world. He loves to spend time with the boys and has been so much more helpful and understanding these last few weeks. I honestly do not know what we would do with out him. I love you honey, happy birthday.

2 week pictures

So the other week I took Erik's 2wk pictures. I think they came out well. He was a little more difficult than AJ was but he will get better...I hope. Here are some of the good shots.

2 yrs with out you

This is one of my favorite pictures of Joslynn

Today is the 2yr anniversary of Joslynn's death. And it is so had to believe that we have made it this long without her. We think of her everyday. We know that she would have been the best big sister ever and is the best big sister ever in spirit. We know she watches over us and her brothers and plays with them all the time. AJ still knows who she is and still loves to talk to her pictures. Erik looks so much like her, and AJ too. But just more like her. We know that she was with me every step of the way through Erik's birth and helped keep both me and him safe. We miss you baby girl. We love you with all of our hearts.
