IT"S A BOY!!!!!!

His face

No explanation necessary

His feet

His face

We went for my ultrasound this morning and it's a baby boy!! We are so happy. AJ will have a little brother, which means I have 2 tornado's to deal with. :) His name is Erik Matthew Ma and will be born on 10-5-2008. We can't wait to meet him! He is growing just fine and is 10oz already. We go back in 3wks for another ultrasound because he was stubborn and would not let them get a good picture of his heart and spine. But hey that just means I get to see him again.:)

Not always a happy boy

His pouty face:(
Poor Baby
After all that he still smiles.

I decided to take some pictures a while back of AJ not being so happy. Everybody always says "He is always so happy! I bet he never cries" Well that is true for the most part. He is starting to have some grouchy days where if Mommy can't hold him ALL day he just cries, and he just has to deal with it. Being pregnant and holding him is a chore sometimes. lol. He is just too heavy after about 15-20min and I have to put him down. So here are some pictures of AJ being his grumpy little self. I think the funniest part of all of this is that after all that crying he still manages to give me his big smile.

Jump Jump Jump!!

Jump!
Jump!
Jump!

We have a jumperoo that both of our kids have seemed to LOVE!!!! AJ even jumps if you are just holding him. It is a very good work out for him. I recently took some really good pictures of AJ jumping the other day.

The many hairstyles of Uncle Kenton

Uncle Kenton and AJ

HELP ME!!!!

We have named this one the peacock.

(don't worry it is just IBC rootbear in his hands)

This is a good picture of them but wish he had normal hair!

My younger brother has been going through this phase where he is wearing black and has blue hair! yes blue. Well I was going through some of my pictures and found this one of AJ & Kenton. This was at my nieces first birthday party. The other is just to show you my brothers many hair styles.

Easter slide show

Happy Easter

Well for Easter this year all we did was go to an Easter egg hunt that friends were doing, and went to church of course. While we were at the egg hunt I decided to take some Easter pictures. While doing so I found out that AJ is scared of grass!!!! It is so funny. He is fine if he sits on his butt. But as soon as I put him on his belly for a belly pose picture he started SCREAMING!! It turned out to be kinda funny. I tried letting him stand in it and all he does is kick it away or pull up his feet and cry. he looks so sad but it is just so funny.

~LETTER FROM HEAVEN~

~LETTER FROM HEAVEN~

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from Heaven, Here I dwell with God above.

Here, there's no more tears of sadness; Here is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight, Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you, when my life one earth was through, God picked me up and hugged and He said, "I welcome you. It's good to have you back again, You were missed while you were gone.

As for your dearest family, They'll be here later on. There's so much that we have to do to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do, And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you. And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight, God and I are closest to you....in the midde of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years, Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.

But do not be afraid to cry: it does relieve the pain, Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned, If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand. But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er, I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb; But together we can do it by taking one day at a time. It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too; That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain; Then you can say to God at night...."My day was not in vain." And now I am content....that my life was worthwhile. Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low; Just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go. When your walking down the street and you've got me on your mind; I'm walking in your footsteps, only a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go....from that body to be free, Remember you're not going....you're coming home to Me.

Our Exciting News!!!

As you can see AJ is pretty happy to becoming a Big Brother.

Ok so I thought I could wait until my neices birthday but i can't. So here it is...Arli and I are going to be blessed with the gift of another baby!! We are due in November. I am so happy, and very worried! I am going to have 2 in diapers plus they will be 16mo apart!I just do not know how I will handle it the first month or so but I will get through. I am so happy that I have been blessed to have a wonderful son, a beautiful daughter I was able to know for a little over a year, not long enough but am thankful for that time. Just to be alive and able to share these experiences with the man I love most.

For the loss of a child

This is a poem not just for me and my little Joslynn. But a poem for every woman who has suffered the loss of a baby weather miscarriage or taken after He let us meet them.

I thought of you and closed my eyes
And prayed to God today.
I asked what makes a Mother
And I know I heard him say.

A Mother has a baby
This we know is true.
But God can you be a Mother
When your baby's not with you?

Yes, you can He replied
With confidence in His voice
I give many women babies
When they leave is not their choice.

Some I send for a lifetime
And others for a day.
And some I send to feel your womb
But there's no need to stay.

I just don't understand this, God
I want my baby here
He took a breath and cleared His throat
And then I saw a tear.

I wish I could show you
What your child is doing today.
If you could see your child smile
With other children and say,

"We go to earth and learn our lessons
Of love and life and fear.
My Mommy loved me oh so much
I got to come straight here.

I feel so lucky to have a Mom
Who had so much love for me
I learned my lesson very quickly
My Mommy set me free.

I miss my Mommy oh so much
But I visit her each day.
When she goes to sleep
On her pillow's where I lay.

I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek
And whisper in her ear
"Mommy don't be sad today
I'm your baby and I'm here."

So you see my dear sweet one
Your children are OK
Your babies are here in My home
And this is where they'll stay.

They'll wait for you with me
Until your lesson is through
And on the day that you come home
They'll be at the gates for you.

So now you see what makes a Mother
It's the feeling in your heart.
It's the love you had so much of
Right from the very start.

Babysense V monitor

After losing one baby to SIDS I'll be damned if I was going to lose another. So my mother bought me this monitor. I absolutley love it. it has givin both myself & Arli a great peace of mind and recomend it to any one exspecially to parents who have lost a baby to SIDS. Here is how it works....

Watch the Babysense™ V Demonstration Video
Babysense™ V has very sensitive sensor pads, placed under the baby's mattress. These pads constantly monitor the baby's every movement. Registered by the high speed microprocessor control unit, movement triggers the flash of a green light. If movement stops for 20 seconds or if Babysense™ V detects less then 10 micro-movements per minute, an alarm sounds, a parent or caretaker will be able to come to the aid of the sleeping baby.

Simple and safe to use
The simplest most reliable monitor available, Babysense™ V alerts you with an alarm if it does not detect the baby's movement. Even the slightest body motions are registered as movement. These motion patterns trigger a flashing green light which can be clearly seen from a distance, providing you with peace of mind.

Where's AJ

So I have kept all of my stuffed animals from since I was a kid. Well they have been in AJ's closet for ever. I decided to recreate the scene from ET with AJ and here's what I got!

I Love You Joslynn

I was only here

For a little while

I brightened many lives

With my beautiful smile

My tiny little fingers

My tiny little toes

Left imprints in your heart

That will grow and grow

I know you are sad

Please do not cry

When you miss me

Think of butterflies

It isn’t fair

It had to be this way

God was ready for me

On that October day

I was carried away

On angel wings

In your memories

I will forever be

Joslynn and AJ's Poem

This is a poem for Joslynn and AJ

Thinking of the days gone by,
I sit alone and ask God "Why?"
Why did she have to go away?
I've waited so long for her to play.
"Because, my sweet," He answered softly."
I need her here to sit at my feet.
Day after day, she will sing and play.
Night after night, I will hold her this way.
Snuggled in my arms, close to my heart.
Thanking her family for their part.
In helping me create and angel for you,
To watch you from Heaven and guide you through.
All the days of your life, she will be close by,
Helping to show you the reasons for "Why?"
Keeping you safe through the struggles in life,
And always with a shoulder to cry through the night."

Joslynn's Poem

Mommy, Please Don't Cry...There Are No Tears In Heaven

Mommy, Please Don't Cry...
A Beautiful Angel Carried Me Here!
I Met Jesus Today, Mommy! He Cradeled Me In His Big, Strong Arms.
He Made Me Feel So Happy Inside.

Mommy, Please Don't Cry...
Heaven Is Wonderful!
Did You Know The Streets Are Made Of Gold? Real Gold!
I Have Lots Of Friends, Mommy. We Run And Play,
We Giggle And Laugh. I Can't Wait To Show You My Secret Hideouts!

Mommy, Please Don't Cry...
When I Fall, It Doesn't Hurt! There Are No Tears In Heaven.
I've Met A Man Named Noah. He Told Me About His Big Boat,
All The Animals, And The Very First Rainbow.
Have You Heard Of Noah, Mommy?

Mommy, Please Don't Cry...
We Have Lots Of Parties Here;
With Streamers And Hats, And The Best Chocolate Cake Ever!
When It's Time To Rest, Angels Tuck Us In.
I Never Get Scared Mommy, There Is No Darkness Here.
Jesus Is The Light Of Heaven.

Mommy, Please Don't Cry...
The Angels Are Always Singing. I Love To Sing With The Angels.
You'd Be So Proud Of Me. I Have A Pretty Voice. I Must Have Gotten It From You.
There Is A River, Mommy, In The Most Beautiful Garden You Could Ever Imagine...
And A Huge Tree With Yummy Fruit. The Angels Call It The Tree Of Life.
Mommy, It's So Wonderful To Be Alive In Heaven.

Mommy, Please Don't Cry...Sometimes I Just Like To Be By Myself.
That's When I Think Of You. Someday, Mommy, We Will Hold Each Other Tight!
Then You Will Cradle Me In Your Arms, And Stroke My Hair...
And Once Again, Our Hearts Will Beat Together.

Mommy, Please Don't Cry...I'll Wait Right Here For You.

Arli and Myself

I am new to this blogging stuff but figured i should try it out so here it goes.

My name is Abby and I am married to the most wonderful man in the whole world. Arli is the best husband, father and man that I know. We have been married for a little over 2yrs. We have 2 children. Joslynn is our oldest she passed away from SIDS in October of 2006, she was 14mo. She was the prettiest baby girl ever. She was our little miss independant. She lit up every room she walked into. Our son Arli Jr. or AJ for short is 6 and a half mo. He is momma's boy, and so handsome. He is such a ham too. He is cutting his first teeth!!! They are popped through and he is crankier than ever. He is also just now sitting for long periods of time. And is getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth. Well this is all for now.
